How can I reserve my bike?
You can book it online through our website, by sending an email to info@gardasouthcycling.com or by calling +39 0456119465.
Do you offer a delivery service?
Yes, by reservation we can deliver the bike directly to the accommodation where you are staying or to the starting point of your tour.
Do I have to leave a deposit?
For rental we do not ask for any security deposit.
What happens if my bike is stolen?
To prevent theft of the bike we always deliver a high security lock. If the bike is stolen during use by the customer, the customer assumes the obligation to compensate 70% of the value of the cycle assessed according to the price list of Garda Bike Hub srl.
Does the rental include insurance?
The bicycles are insured with liability policy, which provides, coverage for damages to the rider and third parties in case of an accident due to breakage or structural failure of the bicycle or its components.
Can I rent on a long-term basis?
Yes, we have different rates for monthly rentals.
Do you provide a map of the route?
Yes, we provide a map with the Peschiera – Mantua, Peschiera – Desenzano, Peschiera – Bardolino and the city of Mantua bicycle path marked.
What happens in case of a puncture or bike failure?
In case of emergency, our Staff will intervene with the minivan directly on the spot by repairing or replacing the vehicle.
How much range do pedal-assist bikes have?
All our bikes are set up with 500 Wh or 625 Wh batteries that guarantee a minimum of 80 km of riding. If you want to undertake a MTB tour with a high elevation gain, our Staff will be able to recommend the most appropriate bike.
What is included in the rental price?
When you pick up your bike, we will provide you with a route map and anti-theft chain. All city bikes are equipped with a basket and puncture-proof tires. Also included is a policy covering liability (TPL).
How old do I have to be to rent a bicycle?
You must be at least 18 years of age. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who assumes responsibility for the minor and gives consent by signing our contract.
Is it possible to leave the bicycle at another location?
You can return the bike to another Garda Bike rent point free of charge, while to return it to other places, at the time the bike is delivered, the Customer must inform the renter.
What clothing should I use?
We suggest sports or otherwise comfortable clothing in view of the expected weather.
What documents are required to rent a bicycle?
Bicycle rentals require ID and a credit card for collateral. Keep in mind that by using a credit card, the security deposit will not be immediately available at the end of the rental, as the banking circuits take a few days to release the amounts.
What happens in case of bad weather?
In case of bad weather you will be provided with a voucher that you can use at a later date.
I would also like to book a tasting of typical products (tortellini from Valeggio, wine, Garda olive oil). Will you take care of the reservation?
